- It turns out that when you remove all of the characters from Jim Davis' seminal comic strip Garfield and replace them with 1970's pop icons Tony Orlando and Dawn, the comic takes on an incredibly poignant view of modern society and the American psyche, challenging each and every one of us to question our true selves and our mortality as we traverse this mortal plane into imminent death. With that, we present to you, Garfield minus Everyone plus Tony Orlando and Dawn.
